Collectible Die Cast Matchbox and Lledo Models

Thanks for visiting. On this site I am selling a full range of Matchbox, Lledo Days Gone and other Collectible models from my late fathers' deceased estate, collected over at least 40 years. We also have a large collection of Matchboxes, Matchbox Labels and Matchbook Folders.

All models are for sale (we have only one of each model, unless noted in the description) and are in "as new" or better condition (allowing for age), unless otherwise noted, and the buyer will be responsible for postage (ex Australia). With favourable exchange rates, now is the time to buy those hard to get models. Selected models are sometimes listed on ebay.

The issue # refers to Matchbox Model of Yesteryear Issue as per the 1993 "The Yesteryear Book". We are in the process of getting photos of all the models. We apologise if you cannot see a photo of any particular model. If you would like to see a photo, please contact us and we will organise one quickly.

To browse through the models, click on the category from our list to view all items in that category. You may also use our search tool to find a product with one or more keywords.

The Lledo brand began with Jack Odell, a manager with Lesney Toys (the company that manufactured Matchbox Toys).

Odell founded a new firm (his name spelled backward). The first models appeared in 1983 and were reminiscent of the earlier Matchbox Models of Yesteryear. Five of the six models was horsedrawn.

New models followed every year, mostly commercial vehicles that could be used with many different logo varieties.
